Short Term Respite Stays

Here at Carmel Terrace Assisted Living, we are always envisioning ways to provide support to our seniors and their families. We offer short-term 30 day respite stays for seniors who are active and independent, as well as those who need some extra support with day-to-day living.

It is an opportunity to try our community on a short-term basis without moving in permanently and to get to know our mission spirit of service, staff, and other residents before considering a move that allows the opportunity to see if this setting is the right fit for your needs.

It is a great gift of time for a caregiver who is tending to a loved one and offers a short break from the role of caregiver or even provides accommodations in which you relocate seasonally for a while. It is an ideal solution when you need a much longer timeframe when you travel.
Residents must meet certain criteria, just as if they were moving into Carmel Terrace permanently

Our short-term stay includes all amenities and support – if needed.

SHORT TERM STAY

• Furnished apartment with linens and towels
• Three (3) daily chef prepared meals
• Medication Management
• Daily supportive care
• Participation in social opportunities and social events
• Transportation to medical appointments
• Daily Mass
• Television and Telephone

You can stay for thirty (30) days with the option to extend your time and as long as ninety (90) days.  This type of stay is based on availability.
